CLIVARIA is a new name for a well-established clivia collection.

It all started off around 2010 when clivias became an extension for Daylily Park.

As a newcomer to the clivia world, we joined a club and involved ourselves in normal clivia activities.

The collection started with various species and some well known named clivia. A famous collection was also acquired along the way. Like with daylilies, it was the breeding of this wonderful indigenous plant that excited us the most.

We recently sold the park. This led to the consolidation of our clivia activities at our home on the land next door. Clivia breeding remains our main focus and we hope to share our results with many other clivia enthusiasts.

At CLIVARIA we see this new phase as a journey in the ever-developing clivia world. The comradery amongst clivia people through visits, Facebook, WhatsApp groups and other mediums are very exciting.
